    What does "hold an edge" mean? Does it measure how long the steel stays sharp? If that's the case then I don't think it's relevant because I never get my skates sharpened due to dulling. I sharpen when I get nicks. "hold on edge" is like whenever you are going into a turn and you don't loose any grip whatsoever on turns, etc.

    it's the one that came with the 5000. filed down the rust and re spray painted every 5 months or so. I say 5 years old maybe? I want a new cage haha.

    Honestly, that was just like I said... my first thought. I have used 3 different XXXlite sticks and never liked one. None of them had the checkerboard weave... At this point I avoid the XXXlite like the plague, why bother looking at something you already know you dont like? it's just a custom stick. whenever you go to NBH stick id you can go stickum etc with textile(checkerboard) or whatever combination you want. it's just custom XXX stick, not a XXXX

    how does one get felt tongues on skates ? I want them on my s11's or 1500c's that im going to be getting. I work at a Pro shop, should I just contact the dealer?
