2007 Easton Catalogue
JR Boucicaut replied to JR Boucicaut's topic in 2007 Product Catalogue Reviews
Hello, this is my site, we review equipment... They're trying to find me a pair of S15s in my size. The Fuels have been ordered and are being made. I am thinking the S15s will show up before the Fuel. That is why I put them in that order. -

No way is that skate offered custom if you are not a pro. I'm getting retails. -

THey'll be on the shelf while I skate those. Then the S15 will be on the shelf when I get my Fuel 120s made. -

I like the way the skates fit. Mine are on order, they're trying to hunt me down a pair. Then again, I liked the way the SyNergys fit but didn't like the way they flexed. I do like the Agility Profile as well - the inside edge of the boot is scalloped so it allows you to get down lower on turns and not feel the edge of the boot cut into your leg. -
http://www.modsquadhockey.com/pics/JR/2007...on/easton07.pdf Skates - The new Stealth line includes 3 new skates - S15, S11, S7 and S3. The S15 and S11 are both composite, and the S7 will be their top-end traditional-last skate. The S15 will have a combination of texalium and carbon fibre with a new tongue, and different ankle pad system. Also, they have gone to their own footbed and stopped putting Shock Doctors in the skates. It comes with a inner heel lift, but can be removed if needed. Lightest skate on the market under 700g. The SyNergy line remains unchanged, but the 1200C has been replaced by the S11. Sticks - New stick for 07 is the SE which replaces the SL. Everything else unchanged. Shafts/Blades - Unchanged other than the new ST which is a short-hosel standard blade. Gloves - S11 replaces the s9 as the top-end glove. Protective - Stealth line unchanged, SyNergy 800/700 added to the line. The Stealth S1 is an awesome pad for beer league, very impressed.

2007 Warrior Catalogue

And who is that coach? Regardless, how can you only take into consideration "just a synergy without the labor, machinery, etc. costs?" That's got to be the dumbest response to that question. -

all i know is that the 1st gen. Synergy costs roughly $8 USD to make. they claim they don't make that much profit because of the labor costs and the cost of the machinery Biggest urban legend in this industry. I remember when that number came out and how it spread. -

why do they make these price regulations? To protect the price point. If you could buy it anywhere for less, it would no longer be worth $239. As well to protect the stores who do less volume. A store who does more volume gets a bigger discount, and could essentially sell the stick for less while making the same profit margin as the smaller store, because they paid less for it. That is why you sometimes see a difference between a big (online) store and your LHS. There are at least 5 LHS within a 10 mile radius of mine and only one of them sells Warrior. Their criteria for selection doesn't make much sense. I believe supply has a big part to do with it, amongst other things. -

The ad should be seen as "I'd give my left nut for a Warrior." Pretty sad that you couldn't figure it out. Nobody talks that way, Sven, don't let them make you believe that. For example, read the description for the Mac Daddy - obviously from Chappelle's Show. If they keep this up, I fully expect to see the N-word in the catalogue for 08. -

Is it a spray on grip ala Easton (which will inevitably peel)? Nipple Grip describes the texture in the shaft. I imagine it is the same soft grip that Inno/Warrior has had for years. -

http://www.modsquadhockey.com/pics/JR/2007...r/warrior07.pdf Keep in mind that I do not have a Warrior account, so I could not tell you how much this stuff is going to be. Thanks to Neil Wensley for giving me a copy of the catalogue.
