Yup, we've had the Stealths since day one. As far as I know, all three GTA locations have the FBV spinners. Hummm wonder who's idea that was to put them in there? Haha... not mine! But I'm glad someone somewhere came up with the idea. :D

I was on the ice twice today, once for a 3-hour shinny session in the morning (no flood), and then ran a 2-hour hockey camp in the afternoon without stepping off the ice once. My steel still feels freshly sharpened. Were are you getting your FBV done? I'm a technician at Hockey Experts.

I'm joining this thread REALLY late in the game. My shop's had the FBV for a while, but I've been too stubborn to try it until now. I took a 90/75 to freshly flooded ice... I've never felt anything like that before. It was incredible; felt like I was skating on velvet. But in a good way.

The midfoot seems to be double stitched in the first picture, and the lining material on the inside of the tendon guard certainly doesn't appear to be standard-retail.

IMO, they might be even a little wider than JOFAs. I almost went with a pair of Fuel 120XPs, but thought they might be a touch too bulky and opted for CCMs instead.

yeah... i don't need the bulkiest pads, and my lacrosse gear has already been broken in nicely. no funny hotspots or velcro bunching. i figured it'd be a bit of a waste to splurge on all-new upper body protective.

i've skates in Tacks almost my entire life... i had the same '03 952s a while back, but despite their overall comfort, it was probably CCM's worst year for Tacks, ever. busted tendon guards, and what i consider to be the "anti-wedge," which seems to pull away from the boot rather than sitting my heel back properly. i skated in the ProTack model from the year after, and LOVED it, but was completely blown away by the most recent (and final) line of Tacks with the D-Lock. i'm on my SECOND pair of 2006 Pro Tacks, and have another paird waiting in the closet ;) hopefully i won't go through all of them before *crosses fingers* the Tacks line is rel-launched.

Upon further review...you are correct sir... "duh!" Thanks. You'd be surprised how much better everything fits when it's put together properly. I guess I was like a kid at Christmas...and rushed to put my "new toy" together. [EDIT] MUCH Better! lol glad to help! enjoy!
