Just landed an internship at a Big cat refuge here in Oklahoma, so excited for this summer, I'll be working with Tigers, Lions, (sadly no bears;) and Cougars. Great experience and it fills many of my vet school requirements, definitely what I needed to make me realize school is the most important thing in my life right now.

I've just kind of sort of got back into the dating scene lately, don't be discouraged if someone says no either, there are plenty of other girls out there as well, some looking for some like you, some looking for something else. Just got to find some that are looking for somebody like you. However going off what I said some people can be fucking cold. Not the greatest day.

Dunno if you have done it or not, but take it from someone who has learned it's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. Ask her out man. No matter what you think, because when you lose your chance you will regret it for a longass time my friend.

A nice Stogie session with the ex teammates back home brought back some good times.

Had a HUGE falling out with the parents last night. Looks like I'm paying for college now. Without a job and stressed out of my fucking mind already.

I know what you mean. I come from an area notorious for college burnouts. Just didn't think I was one of those people who would struggle as much as I have with it. Doesn't help when there is an enormous amount of pressure to succeed put on you as well.

I have lost almost all motivation in school. Don't really know why either

Failed 2 tests on Friday that I thought I did well on. Sneezed so hard I wince every time I walk now.
-
Got to see my family this weekend, definitely turned my week around. Did better on my tests than I had thought too!

People who judge Ag majors before they know us.

Took a big step moving on last night, not nearly ready to date or anything, but last night was the last time I legitimately felt attracted to a girl since I lost my girlfriend.
-
Got on ESPN 4 times in the student section last night because of our signs, totally worth showing up to my 7:30 Biology lab totally drained.
-
A seriously great piece of advice. The big picture is daunting but if I take it slow I can do it. Thank you! Damn you've got it easy;) I feel ya though, that's pretty much my weekly schedule. I have 3 labs a week too.

Back to really struggling with things as of late, and it seems just like a whole new set of problems.
-
It should! Completely made my weekend better, now I don't have to worry about how I'm going to pay for things.

Someone found my wallet and returned it to me with everything still in it! Right before I cancelled my cards too, really puts my faith back in humanity!
-
Lost my wallet that 300 dollars in chili's gift cards, my Driver's license about 100 dollars in cash, my check card, my credit card, and my school ID. Finally had a night to blow off some stress and this happens.

Must be such an awesome experience, I can only hope to be blessed with that in the future. To go along with my venting spot, love getting hands on experience with vets. Makes me realize studying all day to get into vet school is well worth it, having a job that I will want to go to every morning, night and weekend.

Horses kick really fucking hard. Glad it was just a colt and wasn't full power and near any organs! And to answer your question BigD, it's somewhat similar to the process of becoming a human doctor. Very competitive (statistically harder than med school) very expensive and then internships after a minimum 4 years of vet school. Once you get out you typically make a lot less than doctors, but there is less liability (although that is starting to change) and a lot less protocols and legal issues overall. Once you get a DVM title, you can pretty much do anything vet wise, except for a few specialty things. I've heard the workload in Vet School is a bit more in the 4 years as well, just with learning all the different body systems including things like whales which you will probably never work with. And with dental and anesthesiology being things all DVM's need to be trained in.

Holy shit do I need the weekend and it's only Tuesday

I want to become a Doctor of Veterinary medicine. And when I say rub it in people's faces, I really was trying to say you can act on an expert on whatever subject you are a doctor in.

So much for Japanese engineering! My Civic died on me, only 110,000 miles
-
Won 65 bucks off drunk guys tonight. Don't understand how people go broke in college. Also D.D. duty isn't that bad honestly.
-
I know it's ridiculous! haha If you are an actual doctor of any type I feel like you can almost rub it in people's faces. Not when you are aspiring to be one.

Best friend's girlfriend cooking all of us dinner in her apartment while we watch Step Brothers and play poker? I'm okay with it.
