how long did it take to get used to shooting more from the toe? I have started doing this after watching a few videos. My shot is a hell of a lot harder but my accuracy is just shit

Custom Skates / Ice to Inline Conversion
BucksAway replied to cougarscaptain87's topic in Roller Hockey Equipment
Think im going to try this soon. Current RX60's are starting to become uncomfortable after long periods of time and inline just doesn't seem to have many options :( Although the APX2R look good!! It's hard not been able to try much of the gear on in Australia, do te ice and inline boots fit EXACTLY the same??- 2845 replies

new sticks coming july

Puck feel is fine IMO, still no match to a wooden blade but it's not as if you cant feel the puck at all on the stick. I'm more of a finesse player but also a grinder and I have no troubles feeling the puck on my stick and I'm playing with an inline puck. Past 4 games using this stick I have 12 goals 8 assists. Main advantage from this stick is just how light it is, going from a 600gram stick to 400grams makes a big difference. I have never used RS or any other top end sticks unless you count the SE16 and I like the feel of the 405XS more then any other stick I have used. Would like it to be all black but overall it has nothing to do with the overall performance. For me my game has gotten better since dropping to a lighter stick, also the lie is a lot different which seems to have worked for me aswell

Got all the gear last week, Visors are fantastic for the price, never buying oakley or bauer again, not worth the extra $40 Inline wheels are good for the price aswell , they sent an extra 80mm and extra 76mm probably by mistake i guess. Ordered some Elite Pro Laces - 6 pairs but they must have run out of stock so they sent different colors to what was ordered but at least they sent a few extra pairs, think we ended up with 3 Elite Laces which must of been the last pairs because they are no longer even listed on the website aswell as 7 pairs of A&R Waxed Laces and 1 pair of unwaxed, a little dissapointed didn't get what I wanted but the extra pairs makes up for it. Tape I ordered is perfectly fine aswell. 405 XS stick, so far only played a few games with it but so far I LOVE it, extremely light, good feel and balance, the fuse point looks a little sloppy but as long as it holds im not fussed

finally got a reply, turns out 2 items where out of stock but they never contacted me about it :? they "upgraded" the gloves from X 3.0 to X30, not so sure it's really an upgrade but from what i can tell there similar standards. Out of stock of a shaft which i got a refund for, cost 79.99 for the shaft but only got a 63.99 refund, bit confused as to why i didnt get full price, hopefully it finally gets shipped tomorow

hmm getting a bit worried, ordered stuff 5 days ago and still have no tracking number Sent an email and didnt get a reply

A few of there senior sticks come in 75 flex right now, trying to think if the 75 flex is worth the extra 30-40 of the reduced price of the all black 405 which only comes in 85, use an Easton ST which is intermediate which is 65 flex which i am finding im not playing as well with compared to by 75 flex Dolomite, stick handling , shooting almost everything is better with my dolomite, not sure if its just because im using a wooden blade on the dolomite but control seems to be 100x better Think im just going to have to wing it and give the 85 a shot because of the cheap price the 405 is at now, want to try there new shins aswell but there pre order, any ideas of dates?

Tron 405 for $80, worth it? Was waiting for there intermediate sticks but there only 65 flex was hoping for 75 but they bought them into senior instead
-
Tron now brining out Intermediate sticks in both the 100k and RS (: Real pity there not going intermediate shafts or not having the 405 in intermediate What is the 100k supposed to be similar to? Although it says in there description 75 flex only but when you go to select it only has 60 :| Im hoping its a typo and there actually 75
-
Hockey Tron copying the design is pretty crappy on there part but what does it really matter if there offering comparable quality sticks at half the price. In the end its just colors and designs and in no way effects the stick performance. For me the only reason i haven't purchased there sticks yet is because they don't offer intermediate or 75 flex, if your going to avoid them because there design is the same as others then you should really be re thinking the products you purchase, same quality and performance for half the price ( yes so they claim ) any day of the week for me
-
With stuff like this you cant believe any reviews unless talking to an unbiased person actually in person or trying the products yourself, i have heard nothing but good things about there visors and in Australia im seeing more and more people using the blades and sticks
-
well it does, come buy some hockey gear in Australia and you will see
