someone can correct me if i'm wrong but i'm pretty sure that they went upstairs for goals in a previous game. i'm thinking faceoff 99 or faceoff 2000 for playstation. it was the faceoff series by 989 sports. they went upstairs if you had a player in the crease and a goal was scored.

oh yah i rember that it was nhl faceoff 2001 the one with Jonh LeClair on the cover. I have that game for PS1. Forgot all about it lol

nhl 98 also let you argue about goals. I loved it.

now that ESPN is part of EA, maybe they'll get Jim Hughson and Bill Clement or something. NHL 06 looks very promising like 2005 did and 2005 turned out to be crap but playable. EA has been working on this since August so it should be pretty good, unless they do that with all their games.

nhl 98 also let you argue about goals. I loved it.

I remember the year Madden let you overturn calls. That caused more drunken brawls than any other game I can remember.
