Apparently I am the only person that will miss DNA; I really liked the DNA setup.

I'm with you.

i'm with ya too... i loved the DNA setup on my D1 skates but sadly i seem to be the ONLY one who loved the VIBE setup as well :(

Justin,

Are the Mg chassis going to be available to purchase by themselves? i remember a few years ago when we carried mission, we were able to get them. Unfortunately, i've never really had much success with roller hockey skates because i love really stiff skates and always have to convert ice skates.

yeah, im in the same boat, and would love to get my hands on the chassis.

any chance of getting one?

are these rollerblades strong enough for ice hockey ,those white/grey skates would look like nice skates

Absolutely....You could definitely use these for Ice with no issue.....

Not sure yet...I think we may do it later in the year, after all skates have been launched...

This Topic should be called the Ask Justin Forum. So.... where can I get a pair of L7's? I think they are the stiffest ice skate you offer...and the lightest which is what i am looking for. Not a fan of the FRAG like, flexibility movement in the boot. I want it STIFF. That being said, are the L7's the way to go and where do I get some? Thanks a lot.

According to Mission customer service, they will not ship for at least another week or so.

I feel fortunate to have Justin, as well as all the reps from the other company's that get represented here, available to answer questions and give insite to what's around the corner.

I also appreciate the respect they give to each other by not slamming one another.

To all reps - nice work!

(no, I'm not pushing for free stuff :D )

Having the reps here is really a blessing. And Justin/Mission is without equal.

For the record, I must have had Drain Bamage when I spelled GRAF like I did in my earlier post. I think I put FRAG. I could have went and edited it but it was kind of funny so I left it. And thanks for the info on the L7's. I think Mission hurt itself with such a late release. I am loyal to the brand so I will definitely wait but I know at least 2 kids in my area who were really interested in the L7's, ended up buying Vapor XX or XXX becuase they wanted them for hockey camps. If I owned a company, immediately after ice season, all the new stuff hits the streets and all the kids are marketed to death to get the new stuff...keep skating all summer to break it in, be the coolest kid at camp, get a graduation or good grades gift, stay busy this summer with new Hockey stuff, or work all summer in that summer job so you can afford it...yada, yada, yada. Maybe thats why I'm not in the hockey business.

Peace

Mission-Itech sent out a fax apologizing to dealers for the problems. Of course payment is still due on schedule and we'll be making our first payment on the L series stuff before it ever shows up.

Chadd,

I didn't know they were behind schedule. I just thought they weren't coming out till June. I wasn't ripping Mission at all. I usually can get all their stuff pretty timely. Now waiting on Eastons new stuff....different story.

Justin, I know you said the Rink Rat MB816 wheels will be on Missions. Does this mean Mission is switching back to mini bearings on some or all of their skates?

with all this talk about the new player skates can you tell us anything about goalie gear, possibly even a goalie roller skate that is actually playable unlike the bauer one which is impossible to play on sport court with. im really lazy and have given up lookin for a 5 wheel flat chassis and a goalie boot and im just hoping next year will be the year when one of the big skate companies does all the work for me.

No goalie skate this year...Someday perhaps....As for a 5 wheel chassis, why don't you just use a four wheel flat chassis? Less weight and fells almost the same...I have been using a four wheel forever...Why add the weight of 2 extra wheels, 4 extra bearings, etc....
