Go with the Sherwood 5030, best woody I've ever used.

Agreed, the 5030 is a great wood stick.

As well, you may be able to find Sherwood ETS 5.1's on closeout prices right now as they have been discontinued. The ETS 5.1 is a 5030 with an Axion blade.

Too bad they discontinued them in favour of the Momentum. :(

No, the 5030 fusion has an ABS blade.

maybe you needed a stiffer stick as i understand it the 5030 are whippy sticks.

and alot of people like the 5030 so calling them crap thats just your opinion.

i find they arent the most durable wood sticks out there, i really like the 7000 i was thinking about getting some 7000 SOP,but i havent used a wood stick since 2001 and i was wondering if i would still like wood sticks after using ops for almost 5 years.. the whole purpose of this topic was to see if the 3k is any good

I don't like the blades and they don't hold up for me through 3 shots, let alone 3 games. Their lack of durability is partly the reason they have sold so many.

In my opinion the best woody ever made is the z-carbon

I can almost always get one game out of them. I used them for a while but it got too expensive.

has anyone used or seen one of these i was wondering if theyre any good----------------

go to the wood sticks

I just got my 3k's in yesterday, so fresh the paint smell was very stong when I unwrapped them. Seem like will be an OK stick, fibre core, nice blade, a bit heavy, but those who still buy wood don't really care about weight, price is more their issue.

Wow, I just checked out hockeyoutlet.com, they are selling that stick for $7 more than me. Not much of an outlet price, considering I'm a big bad LHS with high prices. B)
