Bauer SDP Pro

so this is bauers attempt to replace the supreme 5000 i take it? i wonder why they stopped making the 5000 and 3000, i was very impressed with the 5000, 3000, and 5000 pro stock gloves i saw/used/tried on. now i do know this "sdp pro" is not a pro glove by any means, but do you guys think that this mit could be just as good as the supreme 5000? why or why not? also has anyone tried or bought this glove? thanks

i think the SDP pro is basically the 5000 with a different outer material and with vents. other than that, they're the same thing

The SDP doesn't have the diamond flex and some other small stuff. The 5000 is still a better glove. I think the main reason bauer stopped making the 5000 is that the the glove is too good, and they couldn't think of much technology to make something better. I guess Bauer wasn't thinking anything about "planned obsolence" when making the 5000's.

Actually Bauer had a line of SDP and BDP gloves in the past and since its more of a traditional styled glove, maybe they just took advantage of that ...

Yes, it is based on the old BDPs. BNH combined their protective line - no more Supreme and Vapor lines - so why have two different top-end gloves?

Why didn't they produce a glove that nike could slap it's logo on?

Why have two different hight end gloves? For the same reason there's two top-line shoulder pads, the defender and lightspeed. :D

The SDP Pro is not marketed as a high-end glove. The glove is going to be below $100 MSRP.

SDP Pro would more be compared to the supreme 3000, right? Or somewhere in that ballpark.
