Hipster 5 Report post Posted May 17, 2005 My men's league team really came together this past winter and we've decided to stick together for spring and next year. We've been skating with plain black jerseys with numbers that the rink lent us, and we're looking to name our team and get cooler jerseys.Any ideas for a good team name? We were a bunch of older guys thrown together at the last minute to round out a league, but suprisingly we came together quickly and finished second with teams that have been together for years.Also, where's a good place to order decent quality jerseys? Apparently nobody wanted to play them previously and they changed their names to go underated.How 'bout team "Fah Q". Some guy I knew had an office softball team or some garbage that was named that. I always thought the bananas would be a nice flowing name but again somehow I can't get anyone else to hop on board with my ideas... alas my name ideas stay locked away for another year. They've got a bunch of crests to choose from so maybe you can get a team name idea from one of those. I vote for the "Sumos". Chadd 916 Report post Posted May 17, 2005 I've had very good luck with SP. They have done screen printing, press on numbers and sewing for me and I've been happy with each order. warrior37 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2005 we always called this one team the "best friends" because things would get so chippy between them and us, and one spring they registered as the "Best Friends" also i live near detroit (40 mins or so) so we attach either "detroit" or "michigan" to all our team names which is kinda nice like one tourney we had ccm logos on the fronts of our jerseys and we were "detroit ccm" also theres so many leagues to pick names from: MLB, NBA, NFL, CFL, NHL, CHL, ECHL, NCAA, Euro Leagues, etc..... theres a logo server web page that has tons of logos and team names from about any league you could think of, also try russianjerseys.com, theres some cool ideasa there Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
