Dying a jersey to white

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if it's possible to dye a jersey. Here's my situation. I'm playing ball hockey this summer and using a Ice hockey sweater which is incredibly heavy and hot. My team is white. I have 2 brand new roller hockey jersey's that are incredibly light and made for this type of weather. One is Orange and the other is black. I was told to bleach it. That didn't work. Is there some kind of liquid that would remove the orange color. I know I could just buy one for $15 but We're getting new ones sometime soon and want to make use of these ones. Any suggestions?

Hockey jerseys are made of polyester. You can't bleach the colour out of them without ruining them.

Just buy a new one. They're easy to find, and cheap... and it'll take you less time than it would to mess up your other jersey.

That, or keep playing with my ice hockey jersey. I won't be buying one. I just bought these 2 for $100 and only used them 2 times each cause the team folded.

Thanks guys
