Your Curve

Recommended Posts

I also have some bigtime illegal blades i made, and they can really whip a shot in thing is people don't like me using it i think it must be about a 1.5 inch mid curve openface blade(if that makes sense)

I don't have the cash to get a custom mold to get them in composite right now so I usually use Modano-ish retail curves on OPS.

lol... don't have the cash right now, eh? Just have to wait until payday? ;)

Nah, I have to wait for my website to go live so I can pimp some gear and hopefully make a few bucks. The one vendor I spoke with yesterday quoted $3k for a mold. That's a lot so to have "my" curve in composite. I can live with a Modo or wood for now.

I currently use the P106 Jokinen. I love shooting with it, but it's not that great for puck-handling (at least for me). Before that I used a Sakic and it was the opposite: Great for puck-handling, but the scoop 'n' throw style of shooting didn't suit me. I'm seriously considering giving the Ribeiro a try. Maybe the little straighter curve (compared to the P106) will be the right shooting/handling combination for me.

Would you consider buying your curve in bulk and selling it as a retail? If you got a few followers it could help the on-line buisness.

I plan to use My:

Roloson Stealth

Chistian T-7 wood

Vic Naslund

I usually stick with Drury's, but I am going to give some others a go right now before I settled in. I'd like to order some SOP's by the end of the year. I think I am going back to Wood :o

I was talking to Cavs the other day about getting some custom 5030s. Too bad he is a righty.

I am trying out a few curves now to see what I like. Probably a 5 lie, rocker, round toe, RP, 90-95 flex, and I'll decide on a colour later. Probably 9950, black on the sides, red on the top..... This is definately a WAYS away, but I'll PM both of you guys if I go through with it and probably put up a thread here on suggestions.

I haven't done research into it, thats what I'd want.

I still have one RH and one LH remaining if anyone is interested. I may do something like that but it's not a popular enough curve in this area to stock in the shop. My Christian composite order just came in and I'm interested to see how the new tapered blades feel compared to the 2004 model.
