hip check 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2005 A guy I play with just got one, and my wife's grandmother has one as well. They seem like solid little cars - not solid like my Land Rover, but for a small car. They're great on fuel. They obviously have limited interior room - for me that would be a big factor... Will your hockey bag fit if you have a passenger? I am not sure how comfortable I would feel around tractor trailers on the highway, but around town it should be great.

jjtt99 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2005 Hmmm, I don't own one but I've looked at the Smart cars pretty closely and the only place to store a hockey bag would be in the passenger seat. The little trunk isn't large enough. On the other hand, I think you could fit a bag in the new Mini's but I would definitely check. Actually that would be pretty funny -- walk into a Mini dealership with your gear bag and sticks and tell the sales guy if it don't fit, no sale, then watch him sweat it out.JJ

roadrunner 12 Report post Posted August 17, 2005 I have a Celica right now. Mini has the same fuel consumption as my car. Even though my car doesn't use alot of fuel I'm looking for something more efficient cause of gas prices and all. I don't care about space right now. Whenever I drive its always me and my gf anyways.I don't play ice hockey anymore other than outdoors in the winter. I play ball hockey and a soccer bag usually does the trick. I'm wondering about the performance, I don't want a car that doesnt have any kick.
A_Steeves12 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2005 I wouldnt think there you be room for a hockey stick if you a bigger guy or just like longer sticks.

Chadd 916 Report post Posted August 17, 2005 I was just playing around on the website and the roadster looks like something I might be interested in. My 70 mile daily round trip is going to kill me if gas prices go up again.

We cant show $1.00 on our signs in canada so most people are making it 99.9 cents.
