Forsberg's new gloves

Recommended Posts

Found a pic of Forsberg from a charity game he played last night, and he's sporting new Easton gloves, but I can't figure out what model they are, they don't look like the Synergy 1300s to me, in a way they do at first but if I look more closely at them they don't look the same. Any ideas? And also it seems he's trying the XXX's again, last season he tried them in the beginning of the season but switched back to the XX after a while. I think he even experimented with Easton and Graf skates for a short while.

Here's a new pic of Peter from the Flyers camp, not sure if these are the same gloves he was wearing in the first pic in this thread, but they look sweet regardless.

Petey, do you know if Forsberg was wearing his normal XX/XXX skates or the new One90's?

EDIT - I watched a video clip on the Flyers website and he was wearing XXX's

GREAT PICS Petey! Thanks.

I still am not used to seeing him in that jersey, but what can you do. I know for a fact that he was a long time user of the grafs and then switched to the XX's. And yes he did try the XXX's but went back. How old is that first pic? Maybe they fixed the XXX's for him....Do you know what skates he is wearing in the Phil Pic?

And on the gloves, not retail. I hope a couple of his old ones go up for sale somewhere. Is there any place to get pro stock equipment? I would buy his old gloves in a "hart" beat.

The first pic is from a charity game in Sweden back in August. And last season he was mostly wearing the XX, but in the preseason he experimented with several models, the XX, the XXX, Easton and Graf skates, but throughout the regular season he was using XX's.

weight-wise chadd do you saw it in person?

Yes, it was in the Montreal-Tackla booth at the show. It's heavier than some of the other top OPS on the market, but it's not a log. The catalog doesn't have exact weights listed.

I don't really care what Forsberg wears. I've tried the Easton Snergy 1300's and found the fingers are too short. The Bauer XXX's leave a gap when you bend down your glove so you need to wear poly wrist protectors for extra protection. I ended up buying the Reebok 8K's because they where light , offered great wrist protection and where spacious enough for my hand and fingers. Absolutely love them. :)

the shape of forsberg's glove in the 2nd pick reminds me of the vapor line, but maybe its just be...

cobrAA i dont understand how the palms can be heavy? not sure what you mean, the 8k palms felt really nice when i tried them. liking the mesh fingers

i know it a weird feeling...but when i tried my friends rbk...i felt like his palm soak up all the water and it felt ''heavy''

I never used to tell if a glove is heavy or not...but i was used to use 50$ glove...now that i try the XX and XXX..etc(all high-end glove) i felt that these glove had a weird weight..

But as i said..i don't whant to make a fight with this..this is not the MAIN IDEA of the topic!
