SOMETHING CRAZY JUST HAPPENED

Hey,

I was in my LHS about an hour ago and they are holding this contest where you get locker combonations and you try and open a locker with a bunch of free stuff in it. Well the lady hands me a combo so i go over, and what do you kno it opens!! I ended up getting Vapor XXX gloves,XXX skates,XXX stick and 8000 helmet for free! I pretty excited so i figured I'd channel it on to the board, I had to tell someone. The only bad part is I just bought Reebok 8k's last week so i have 2 of the best skates on the market now.

Anyways thanks for putting up with my excitement!

That was a regular Bauer comp. When i was in the states i heard about it. Wasnt just Source For Sports.

you better not have won the one from the Hockey Shop! Every time i'm working and i see someone trying to open it I shudder because I can't win :angry: :)

LOL nope I won it from Valiqutte Source for sports in Ottawa. Im pretty excited. I think I'm going to return the 8000 for a 5000 though, cause the 8000 looks goofy..lol.

Ya lol. I made a comment right before, like "If they're sending thses combo's to people in the mail, obviously the in store ones wont win." I was shaking when it opened, i was soo happy.

I work at Source for Sports and we had this competition too, I don't know if every store has this comptetion,but we had three winners. It was awesome to see how excited people were when they opened the locker. Congrats by the way.

LoL like I said though my dad just forked out 750 for my 8k's so its kinda funny that i have 2 of the best skates on the market. And I have a XXX stick and 2 XX's so now im good on sticks..lol..and I have XX gloves but these XXX look pretty sick..So my dad probably doesn't kno how to feel..Its fuuny because I was with my buddy cuz myh parents and sis are out of town so they took me get my skates sharpened while they were oging and BAM!

P.S. I got all the stuff in Navy so i am matching like crazy since my team colous are navy,white,orange.

congrats man....

that would save me a helluva bundle... hope you dont tell everyone you play with that you got it for free....

I completely agree with fatwabbit. Best to keep a lid on the free stuff with those you play with.
