Forsberg hurt

Recommended Posts

And I was thinking the over/under would be around November.

Forsberg, who signed as a free agent last month, will have surgery Monday to remove an infected bursa in his right ankle. The Flyers said Forsberg is expected to miss at least two weeks.
Hatcher, also signed last month to bulk up the defence, sprained his left knee and will miss at least three weeks.

Philly has a reputation of putting injured players on the ice before they're ready. I wonder if it will be the same for these guys??

Hopefully they learned something from Lindros and Babych mistakes they made.

I wouldn't count on it. They let Primeau play with a concussion during the playoffs and they pushed Gagne to return from his injuries too soon during the regular season.

With Forsberg having surgery on his ankle I can't really see him in game shape in two weeks, I know I'm no doctor but come on, you can't rush something like your ankle.

Forsberg has a long history with bad feet and ankles. Not good folks.

Not good if you're a Flyers fan, If you cheer for another team....say, one of the Flyers rivals, you might not think it's that bad of thing for them to be without Forsberg

I am sorry but I find that funny that they haven't even played in a game yet and he's already out. Didn't he have ankle surgery a couple of years ago?

Several times, isn't that the reason he missed the entire regular season a couple years ago?

Wasn't that a reptured spleen? or am I mistaking that for another one of this injuries?

I think he came back for like the confrence finals against the stars when he had a ruptured spleen... I don't know how much of the regular season he missed that year though.

I believe the spleen thing occured the playoffs prior to the season he sat out. By the time the regular season was ready the speen was fine but his feet were acting up.

He had the original ankle surgery in Sweeden but they botched it and it had to have it fixed or something like that.

HAHA!! This is what a devil fan wants.

No fan should ever want to see people injured. If I were a Devils fan I would want all the Flyers healthy so there would be no excuse the Devils beat them. Then again, I'm not a Devils fan.
