So, there is a picture in the paper today of Crosby at practice. It appears that he is wearing Graf skates...still using Sherwood (which we all knew) and everything else (that is visble) is RBK. His gloves, however...have DARRYL87 on the cuff?

Anyone know what up wit dat?

I have a scan but it is B&W and kinda Sh**ty. I';ll post it later tonight.

It looks like there is a green or yellow triangle up near the toe....thought they were Graf...I'll try to find the pic I saw and post it in Color

[EDIT] upon further review of the picture....yes, RBK skates. Still looking for the "DARRYL87" Answer.

Alot of people do this with sticks and such, I've seen a few on gloves as well, I guess they like it more than just "Crosby"

That's not the smae photo I saw. It's fairly obvious that those are RBK skates. In the one I saw you can only see the toe with the green marking.

Does the NHL reuse practice jerseys cause on Crobys pants and jersey the nhl logo is going the old way but the sticker on his helmet is the new way

I thought we already went over this about those skates? If i remember correctly they are the RbK PUMP skates. If you look on the side you see a little green or white dot which is the "pump"

I think some of the teams are still using old practice jersey stock as who knew when exactly the lockout would end? The teams will probably move into the new logo and looks as the season starts. Remember, the equipment manager didn't have a job for 10 months!!
