twistoffate19 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2005 I just got to try out the Sakic curve on my buddies SL, and I love the curve. However I don't love the round toe. I was just wondering if there are any Sakic clones out there with a square toe?

Jason Harris 31 Report post Posted September 19, 2005 Our G1's Sakic clones are fairly square. Enough so that it is how I tell them apart from the Modano clone.
furlanitalia 1 Report post Posted September 19, 2005 Unless I'm mistaken, a Lidstrom is almost identical to a Sakic, and it has a square toe. I've used both and found they feel the same.

The Lindstrom is more open than the Sakic. The blade is also longer. I have used both and found a big difference. Nonetheless there almost identical.

Yes, they are different curves but it's an easy transition for most to make. Same lie and both open more near the toe.
All Torhs Team 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2005 this may be alittle off topic but...I was at Torhs Nationals in Detroit thiis past summer and watching a crap load a hockey. I was watching college hockey and noticed in warmups when the guys were next to me on the boards...that many of the players cut there blades at the toe so its like a saw or a knife I mentioned it to tony torhs as i was talkin to him....and it wasnt just one team it was alot of diff. teams....and in college age...they hack more and get away with more...and cant imagine how much thats gotta hurt...thought i'd share...and if you want'd to you could cut your blade....wouldnt suggest it though.
