I missed another issue? damnit, I haven't seen one in four months now.

Yeah I haven't seen one in a while either. Is it weekly again or bi-weekly till the season starts?

I've never seen an Inno ad in my life, so will/does this mean that Warrior will be more accessible than Inno?

Not judging by their public statements.

The rest of the ad copy reads: Inno Design, Composite Construction, Pimpin Style. It's a Powerful Feeling.

Gee, I can't wait to how they market the rest of their product line. Maybe they will send out 3' x 2' posters of this to put in the pro shop window so Hockey Mom can explain to her Mini Mite player that this is what happens to you if you don't wear a cup playing hockey!

Shouldn't that be "Hockey mom explains that WON'T be able to happen if you don't wear a cup"

Hahaha good point! "Mommy, why does that kid have a big puff in shorts?" LOL!

As Chadd has mentioned, and correctly so I feel, most gear is bought by parents for kids. Granted there are adults that play too, but most of them money is in youth leagues, and on the spot purchases at rinks and stuff. Now, how does Warrior expect to draw parental support for their gear with adds like that? Some little kid is gonna go up to mommy or daddy and be like, "Mommy, I want to be a big pimp! I want a Pimp Daddy or Dolomite stick!" I really feel they are limiting themselves by taking such an "urban" approach to marketing. Sure, it's new, it's hip...but in the end, mom and dad gotta support the purchase too.

You would think they could come up with something a little better than "Mack Daddy". I really hope that isn't written on the stick in large letters.......that's just asking for someone to give it a two-hander.

just a thought: if kids don't know what a boner is, i don't think they'd know what they're looking at

I'd be more worried about having to explain to my kid what a mack daddy is

I'm 18 years old, and I love the AD, I think its great how they go out on a limb and do something risky to get attention, I love my 1100, but you can be damn sure I'm gonna try a warrior stick after this.

Mack Daddy

They have a few OPS' coming out, one is called the Mack Daddy but they're are a few others with different names. Check out the THN issue with the stick buyers' guide. The date of September 20th comes to mind for that one.
