They've gotta shake the lines up get something better going cause they have the potent to have a cup team there. They also wanna watch out it doesen't turn into the Rangers of two and three years ago where to many egos get going in a room. They have alot of stellar character in the room though so I dont think its a problem.

I don't believe they have enough talent to compete for the cup.

Up front they do. Their d is suspect and so is Thibault and co.

They have people to put the puck in the net, but do they have the right combinations of lines? The right balance of toughness, heart and skill? Their 6 D are weak, but do they play well in their zone as a team? These are major questions. Their forwards have talent, but few are proven winners.

I've watched T-bo play in Chicago for the last couple years and he's not going to carry that team and that's what they're going to need. They have a lot of forwards who don't like to backcheck and a lot of old forwards. Yes, they have some talent but most of them are on the backside of their career. Leclair, Recchi and Mario would have been great 5-6 years ago. Now, not so much.

How do they get behind in every game and always seem to get enough PPs to get back into the game?

I guess even "The next great one" can be in awe once in a while.

I missed the first two periods but the flop when he got bumped in the third and the f-bombs at the ref when he got called for hold floppa were not real classy.

after all, nobody else ever gets mad and swears. you see the leafs game?

Every time I switched over the Leafs were on a PP and it was a blowout so I didn't watch much.

it was nuts, fights everywhere. even jason allison threw down.

I'm waiting to see the suspensions. Apperantly JFJ started screaming at Hartley during his post-game interview as well. Tucks got 22 stitches apperantly. I can't figure out why DeVries fought Allison instead of Sutton? Sutton's the same guy who took out Allisons knee in LA as well. When were you watching Chadd? It was pretty even until late in the second, and then we popped a few late there, early third and Hartley started throwing out the goons.

I only saw bits of the third period, missed the actual scrums. It's not like they have a bunch of goons on the Thrashers, Hartley does like players who aren't afraid to stand up for themselves though.

Eric Boulton (who is good friends with my cousin) took a run at Big E and that started the 1st set of fights. for what i saw it didnt look like a dirty hit but then Domi went after Boulton.

Domi....... thinks he's the big tough guy. I cheered when i saw Tucker get put into the boards. Lindros couldnt fight if his life depeneded on it. Quinn looks like he walked the street in the Bronx. Boy, what a fun start to the season.

Lindros is one of the best fighters I have seen. There are clips for when he played for Philly where he just pummeled guys. He shouldn't fight now because of his concussions, but he is a awesome fighter. He can throw them FAST!
