TPS custom HGT gloves

Recommended Posts

I decided to go custom on gloves as I get a good deal on TPS HGT. Anyone know what options they have? My LHS told me that they can do basically anything but they did not have a sheet or specific info from Louisville on all the available options (colors, cuffs, palm, etc) So this question to all you shop owners/employees or owners of custom TPS´s. What can I get?

I can't speak for the whole list of options, but I got HG1s with HGT fingers, zero (I think) cuff, plastic inserts, digitech palm and I think longer fingers.

But Mack forgot to choose Coolmax interior liner which is a great option.

Mack's glove is a glove that slipped through the cracks - it was never supposed to be processed. Some people got in trouble but it's all in the past.

You can get cuff and finger length, palm options, colors, portofino, nylon, or a mix of the two, lining...

Thanks for all your input so far. J.R. what do you mean with portofino? Never heard that word, sorry. Also what are the options on lining? Inside, outside? Is the coolmaxx inlays still available? And what kind of palms do they offer and which palm type do you think is the best? Sorry to bother you with all those question but I got to be sure before I drop 200$ on a glove

Yes, I have to give thanks again for those coming on thru. Very much appreciated.

Dave-

I didn't know about it or request it, but JR had it put in there anyway. I agree, it's a great feature. The only oddity I've seen on mine compared to others' is that it doesn't say "TPS DigiTech" or whatever on the palm - it's just plain.

Synthetic leather.

Hold on - I might have a form around here..

$200 for a HGT?

Thanks!

That would be great. Would love to get a copy of that form

Germany....any more questions? ;) They said it will be up to 150 Eur =195$ depending on what I want. The retail ones cost 130$ b.t.w.

what's the main difference between the hg1's and the hgt's? all i can tell is one piece fingers vs split fingers.

HG1 is a traditional backroll glove. What Messier wore...

so the back rolls are straight horizontal, instead of angled like on the hgt's?

That´s a nice glove Mack! Do they actually make them in between sizes? I think I´d like a 14,5". Or will I have to alter the size with longer fingers for example?

I can tell you right now that they won't make that glove for you.  HG1 is only being made for those who wore the glove previously for them.

That´s all right. I´m not looking for the HG1 model. I was just thinking that Macks glove looks truely "unique" as you already pointed out B) Anyway....will they make a HGT in 14,5"?

They might tell you it has to be a team order.

I had a hookup in the pro customer service department which allowed me to do one or two at a time.

From the conversations I have had with them, it shouldn't be a problem.

They'll make singles now? I used to get it done but they preferred that we did two at a time.

I'm still waiting for the "official" response

So, if they do singles would I just be able to contact the company myself and see if they would fax or email the spec sheet? Or would I still have to go through a pro shop?
