On his three goals none of the assists went to a north american born player.

I'm not a rangers fan, so I can't name everyone on the team, but I can't even think of one North American skater on the team.

Kevin Weekes is the only guy I can think of who's North American.

It does make sense to pair him up with a couple of playmakers like Straka and Nylander though...Marty Ruchinsky too...

The only north american woth any thing on the rangers top two lines is Steve Ruccin. Other than him, they're all grinders, and even some of the grinders are european (Ville Nieminen).

off topic, but Nylander is the most pathetic NHL player I have ever seen. That man either does not know how to shoot the puck, or has something against doing it.

He's a lot like Oates in that respect, but i would hardly call either one of them pathetic.

Nylander has been one of the top Rangers this season. He sees the ice very well, makes great subtle plays, and can stick handle. He is a playmaker not a goal scorer.

I understand Jags told Slats which Czechs to get, Slats got them, now Jags is happy and will play his game. He has his buds with him so look out. The NYR are in first in their division!! I read it this morning.

Moore and Ortenmeyer played great last night, they're both North American.

Sounds like you're talking about the Sedins when all they do is cycle the pick forever..and ever.

So 81-0-1 now?

Jagr has always loved playing the game he just hates playing through adversity.

It'll be tough since they are 4-2-3 right now.

I heard the lock-out was really helpful for Jagr and his drive for the game. They kept talking about it during the World Championships, but I tend to tune out McGuire as soon as he starts up so I kind've tuned most of what he said out after that.

now this is the jagr that i loved to watch back the in good penguin days. its a little hard for me to watch though, i absolutely hate the rangers....well, not so much anymore. they used to by my model of hate in regards to trying to buy a championship. plus, i just hated messier (yes good, still hate). now its like the rangers are an actual team. its fun to watch. plus it helps that there are tons of ex-pens playing for them. that's a bonus.

And now that they're out of Pittsburgh, they'll actually win a few games. :P

No, the Senators are first in the conference. Last time I checked, both Ottawa and New York were both in the East, and last time I checked, New York had 2 losses, whereas Ottawa had NONE. :D

They got their win last night, before he posted. In the NHL it doesn't go by winning perecentages, so only points earned matter, not points per game or winning percentage.

How did we buy the '94 championship? Most of our aquisitions were good trades and grinders. Messier was signed, as well as Graves. Leetch, the Conn Smythe winner was home grown.

Amonte for Matteau and Noonan was giving up a good young player for two old ones.
