No, solid core is correct. The 5030 SC has been around forever, long before they shaved corners. Like the idea, though.................

i got this stick recently, Sherwood "SOP" like 9030 i think... its a fetzner curve its pro stock, and the feel is a lot different / better then the stardard 9030 it feels better made... is SOP availabe retail or do i have to find warehouse sales to get them like i got this one

its special order pattern, custom if you will you order from your lhs.

my 5030 sop felt much better, lighter and blade stiffer than retail as well
