Crazy hockey fight where did this happen?(not nhl)

not sure if it is a repost, I searched for this url and found nothing but this is one of the craziest fights I've seen in the newer age of hockey.

I don't understand why the guy at the bottom fo the screen at the beginning can't get up after the initial slash, it looks like he gets hit high in the tounge of the skate but shouldn't your shin guard be there to protect the hit?

Can anyone translate what the announcers are saying?

Do the announcers mention why the fight occured? thats what I've been trying to understand for a while, is it because of the slash that happens right when the puck drops?

I won't translate word for word, but it goes something like this:

"On my god, what a punch..."

"They're going at it again... "

"I'm at a loss for words"

Repeat 3 times, then:

"They're on the other team's bench"

Then start from the beggining

in Semi-pro each game is like this...this is the league brashear played last year and got suspended!!

I'm no where proud of this Quebec league...and these guys get paid to do this!!! And people don't come to see a game they come for a show..It their local team lost 6-1 a game and they fight at the last 10 seconde of the game...Now they are all happy!

only think i like about this...is how one team dominated the other team...that mean like they are way tougher(nah tougher isnt the right word)

I dont know about you but for my self if i was on the bench and i would have seen my guys get owned like that and i mean OWNED i would have jumped on the ice and cause a major brawl or when he was close to the bench i would have draged the guy that was doing the chiken dance and slap some sence into im.

On Saturday night in a HS PreSeason league,My friend's team got into a brawl with the other team.Everyone was fighting,even the goalies.

Yea Kovy i know but when playoff come by they tell there goons to go on the star player of the other team.But when i said i would go off the bench into the ice is because i am a team player.If i see a friend/teammate get in trouble (not a fair fight) but really in trouble i will be the 1 st to help and i am in no way a fighter.But that is just me.

yeah, but in this league and you know it since you are from QC, there are goons and the skills players and the skilled players were on the bench.

They are actually regulate who is an enforcer and who is a goal scorer as well don't they? I remember seeing a few interviews and they all know what they are their for, the skill guys love it because their are pylons out there to dangle, and they know they won't get touched. Must be rough for the fighters though, I still can't fathom being an enforcer for a living. Waking up thinking, okay, fight so and so today, watch out for left hook, etc.... Waiting all day to get hit in the face.

That´s the crazy thing about this league. When I last checked some of their rosters they had quite some ex-QMJHL talent that either didn´t last long in the pros, got a better job or went to Universities and then back into semi-pro hockey as well as some seasoned veterans coming back to their home towns after good years in Europe or the minors. I really like the idea of that coming home thing but I don´t get why they need to add all the "fights" to attract fans as well.

true, I used to play with two of the skilled guys of Sherbrooke last and both of them were actually pretty good.

i've seen that fight before. it's disgusting. this is the exact reason hockey gets a bad rep. because people are dumbasses and won't play the game the way it should be played. fighting here and there, but not for four minutes of hell.
