Super feet (grey)

Recommended Posts

so how many of you guys have super feet in your skates?

do you guys like them?

they hurt the first three skates but big difference in edge control for me.

I swear buy them nowi

anybody ever ask them selves why skate makers put such a cheep foot bead in a skate?

I think its funny that we spend $400 dollars on skates and you basically get same footbead.

I wish the hockey industry was more like the ski industry..

I had superfeet in my old skates and ShockDoctors in my current F-12s...they're far better than the paper with fuzz on top that comes in the skates. I really cant tell a whole lot of difference but both Shockdoctors and these work really well compared to the stock ones. I feel more stable on my feet with the shockdocs and superfeet.

I hate those stupid Bauer ETF insoles and i'm still deciding whether or not to choose Shock Doctor insoles or Superfeets. Does anyone know the difference between the Superfeet colours if any?

I use to have a pair of super feet (grey) but they have too high of an arch and caused a lot of pain, so I took them out and settle with stock footbeds on my grafs.

The Superfeet grey insole was developed with Bauer a number of years ago, thus ,it was specifically designed to work with the raised heel in a skate and the narrow heel area. It does fit in virtually all skate brands. Suerfeet also make a custom skate black.

My rep told me you can heat them up.

everyone has a break in time with these guys

your foot is being supported in a area that it never has before.

I was looking into getting a pair of these, but realized the paper thin Graf insoles made skating much more comfortable than other companies I had tried. I'm a little scared to try anything else right now. I remember I used to get bad pains in me arch when skating on Missions or CCMs, but once I switched my Graf insoles in most of the pain went away.

I noticed my Dad has some old school SuperFeet inside his old school Bauers. They must be 20 years old now, I couldn't believe it.

IMO I always used stock insoles and never minded, i think that its better thinner sort of like foot to skate. also what about SuperFit? pretty sure those are the plain grey ones and from my understanding thats the choice most pros make, does anyone know?

Heres a question. My Missions kill my feet, but my easton dont.(in the arch area). So if i put some suoerfeet in my eastons, do you think it will hurt my arch.

I have super feet, The stock insoles in my missions had some pains in my feet, now with super feet they dont (i have a really flat foot so i need a bigger arch. The secret is to not tie your skates so tight around the middle, where your arch is and then tighten them how ever you want at the ankle

if you do that you will pronate You need to give them time.. No doubt their is a break in period.

If you leave them too loose your defeating the purpose. You pronate again and break down your boot pre maturely just give them some time..

; just so you guys all know I am talking about the new ones not the old ones that came in bauers. ;)

jason do the pro stock skates come with just plain old regular insoles?

yep but I hear that super feet is working with some of the teams and they even do customs.

My rep gave me the # for the rep out of LA and hes been working with the kings. Great guy and gave me alot of great info.. It also helps that Harlik figure skates are right down the street from me. Figure skate builders know what they are doing. Thats why graf build so many high end skates.

that is funny man... I know the cork you can grind down and glue sticks great when adding more lift. But I was told buy my rep you can even grind down the grey. Shockdoctors have a soft feel but if you want great respose you should not get those. Remember that your only controling two edges and it is so so so important for you to feel them.
