I had a pair like that (with synthetic I think though) about 10 years ago..best gloves i had til that point..not sure if the palms are the same.but the ones I had were so soft but still durable..i paid about $150 for mine in '95...

they were made before you were born most likely,thats why you have never heard of them .Yes,they should cost that much as they are custom made gloves.

i had a pair of pre 96 tps gloves, very nice glove, lousiville was smaller on the cuff though, i dont remember if it was a solid or split finger, they were beauty, but boy did they weigh a ton

Yeah, those are sweet. My teams color scheme, too. Too bad he won´t ship overseas :D Anyway, I think they made those gloves since around 1990 until around 1998 but the older ones had smaller graphics. (I always think of a young Pat LaFontaine when I see them...don´t know why) I went through 4 pairs of those (just with smaller cuffs) because our pro team used them and we would get the restored ones for free. I still have one in Rangers color laying around. Back in the day they went for about 140$.

Edit: Warrior37 the stock ones didn´t have split fingers.

The smaller logo was used on the Orient made version of this glove.

Oh I see. Didn´t know that. I mainly saw the smaller graphics in older pics. Thanks for the insight SRI.

the cuff makes them look like oven mitts

I had them serca 1996 and they sold for alot more than $140.00
