wood blade for tapered shaft?

Recommended Posts

The stick i use is a synthesis and the only pattern i can use is a hull L-2... so last weekend i broke my blade and dont necesarily want to spend 65 US to buy a new l-2 blade. So is it possible to buy a wood hull for a tapered shaft?

I would sing the praise song of Easton to the GODS if they come out with a woody Iginla. I found the Nash R2 Woodie to be pretty useful for an Iginla in wood

are the wood synthesis blade stiffer than their standard hosel wood blades?

I always thought they made their wood blades very soft.

euh chadd...are you serious...easton is making iginla wood synthesis!??...since when??

I forgot it's only Modano and Sakic from them isn't it?

Messier R2 is close as is the Christian #5 and both come in wood.

Wood is wood

Actually, I would have to disagreel--wood is NOT wood.

Depending on type (I believe most blades are now made of Ash), grade, and other factors like grain, cut, and humidity--wood blades can vary greatly in durability and softness.

I love the initial feel of TPS blades, but find that their wood deteriorates fast.

Higher end Bauer blades like the 7500 seem to have a better grade of wood and hold up a bit longer.

I saw some Easton pro return Synth woodies on eBay that looked good.

The Easton pro t-flex woodies are the best I've used.
