New CCM stick

Recommended Posts

PP the perfect stick would be perfect balanced, around 400-410g, with Inno soft grip & great durabillity.

Both the Stealth & 7k are sub400 and break like matchsticks, never owned one, just seen/or broken them in games...

And now there's an even lighter model comeing out :o

They better not make a friggen junior version that sickens me when I see like 9 year olds using 300 dollar sticks when they can't even shoot a puck the whole length of the ice!

I didn't like in the latest USA Hockey that the guy's kid had all top of the line gear and a synergy ST and is like 6 years old. Who the hell needs Synergy 1300 gloves, Z-Air's, an ST and who knows what else at 6???

Besides skates that fit decently, you don't have to buy good stuff.

Top of the line equipment is a waste of money on a 6 year old (and most older for that matter)

And make sure you give him something alike the Recchi curve, so he has a chance to get a decent feel for the puck and use his backhand some more, instead of a icecream scooper just to lift the puck.

Yeah, I think I wasted money when I got my current Vector Pro's. I love them, but I think they were a waste.

I'd have been happy with S400's or Supreme 8090's (On the cheap). Would have also saved my parents a hefty piece of cash.

I have only seen one or two broken R+. They seem to hold up better than most for people around here.

Funny thing is, it's Steve Konowalchuk, who happens to be out for the rest of the season. Guess he won't be giving his son any on-ice tips for a whileeee
