UMWhockey 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 Sher-wood Tradition! Those are awesome. Of course, you might want something that will stand up to more abuse, but for the mobility and the "I'm so old school I'm wearing pads that are virtually non-existant and I'm gonna f@#! you up," intimidation factor, they can't be beat...unless of course, you have some old school Coopers. I played college with them. Doesn't feel like i have anything on and i love it...
#28 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 I really like my Synergy 900 shoulder pads. They are incredibly light and offer a lot of protection. They are very flexible and they have low profile shoulder caps.
Scstars524 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 Needing new shoulder pads too. Just recently found out I had wrong sized shoulder pads...Nike V-14 any good? I hate them. If you are fat get them b/c I have to tape them before every ice time.
BGM 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 I've had V-12s, Bauer Lightspeeds and now Easton Synergy. Lightspeeds have big shoulder caps. V-12's have a little smaller caps than Lightspeeds. Synergy is the best design with the low profile shoulder.

Fletch 219 Report post Posted January 4, 2006 I got these to replace my ancient Cooper SP's, and I love 'em. And for $20, they can't be beat.http://www.hockeygiant.com/bau300spsr.html
forsberg91 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2006 I bought my CCM Tacks 1152 after breaking my collar bone a couple years back and i love them. Lets just say im not the biggest guy on the ice, so these shoulder pads really take some abuse and they are holding up great. Haha you sound like me. I bought a pair of Easton Ultralites after breaking my collarbone for the second time, and I love them. I'm not the biggest guy either so I get hit alot, but they are great. Edge 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2006 New Stealth S9's look pretty nice!! im gonna get my hands on some when they come out!! :D I Like the look of them also. I like the profile of the current ones and those look even better. The protection on the synergies is good now anyway.
duch 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2006 I wear the Jofa 8400's. Incredibly protective and cushioned to boot. Also light and very unrestrictive. Jofa makes the best, well I guess its Reebok now.
markthedeadhead 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2006 I use Jofa 6700's, but I just bought some '04 Jofa 9700's tonight cos there are some sick deals on Jofa stuff now that the RBK line has taken over. I just wish they still sold the Cooper Techniflex shoulderpads.
