vince young.... wow. that was by far the most excited ive ever been watching a football game, and i dont like either team!! but vince young... are you kidding me?! that was one of the most amazing performances ive ever seen in this big of a game.

i noticed he took off his jersey right after the game.. i wish they would have kept the camera on him, because it was obvious he was going to go give it to some one. im not a big football folower, but from what i saw he seems to be a very class act.

In USC's (ugh) defence, Texas did get a TD they shouldn't have but then again that leaves the USC/ND fustercluck wide open.

"oh my team sucks we are no good at all" come on what do you expect, if SC won and young said the same thing, it would be called a noble defense of his team. i guess you also missed the comment where leinart said that texas made the big plays to win the game....great game, do you guys think young will be a good pro QB? i dunno i dont think he will be able to break tackles like that in the pros. but who knows he was a stud last night

In USC's (ugh) defence, Texas did get a TD they shouldn't have but then again that leaves the USC/ND fustercluck wide open.

At that point the USC defense couldn't do anythinig to stop Texas. If anything that saved USC a little, had Texas been given another minute or so who knows if USC hits the field goal late to make it a 6 point game at the half.

Except, he took ZERO blame. If you're a senior leader and the QB you're supposed to shoulder a little something. Instead he threw the entire defense under the bus and called Bush out for his lateral.

His "compliment" also went like "they made the plays to win the game but I think we're still the better team." Yeah, because apparently containing Bush as well as they could have was just a fluke.

As for Young being a good pro QB, his only shot is if he stays another year. No QB should leave early, plus he also looks to pass before he runs so I think he'll be decent. Definitely needs another year.

Okay, but let's be honest: Would USC have stopped them? I doubt it, even if it was a bad call. That's why it was bright of Texas to just hurry up and get the PAT down.

I agree with the last few posts here... Even though Young's knee was down, there was not a chance in hell of USC stopping them on that drive. Texas is the better team. Period. Also, Leinart's a little bitch.

People at my office are saying this bumps Young into at least the #2 spot if not the top spot should he declare for the draft. I say #2 tops, but I hope he stays because all QBs should. Plus I don't want to see Leinart down here.

I say that it is a toss-up if the Heisman voting was after the Rose Bowl. You've got to factor in all of the absolutely monster games that Reggie Bush had before this, but you have to think of how absolutely no one could stop Vince Young in this game. I still can't believe he had 500+ All purpose yards in one game, jesus.

i love it how some of you are saying leinart is a little B**** but arent saying any reasons why. i guess losing only 2 games in your college career, winning 2 championships and a heisman makes all us guys who were never good enough to play elite college football jealous. and if leinart is so classless with his comments, what about young yelling at the college gameday guys "whose heisman"??? look when you interview guys seconds after you win or lose, things are gonna come out that they will regret later. but i am sure none of you have ever said something in the heat of the moment and regreted it later. look the game was one of the best football games period. each team was soo balanced and even it was gonna come down to the end. the game was one on two 4th down plays, Texas defense stopping SC on 4th and 2, and SC's defense not stopping young on 4th and 5. what i dont get is that leinart had an unbelieveable game too, a better "QB" game statistics wise then young, but young had soo much heart he willed his team to win.

the officials missed a couple of things, and were always slow on calls. bad calls went both ways.. youngs knee on the ground.. one of texas' linebackers had an interception that he had, but it was reviewed...

the game was won by young, he wanted it more.. and reggie bush looked like he dissappeared... coupld of good runs, but besides that was shut down.

1) Texans--best thing for them to do is trade down and get an o-line because they have a good young QB and RB.

2) Saints--literally have no QB and will take Leinart/Young

3) Titans--Need help everywhere but would make sense taking Leinart since Chow is the OC here.

I can see Oakland trying to trade up to get Leinart, even the Jets.
