inno 1100 prostock shaft

Recommended Posts

I was looking at a inno 1100 prostock shaft and was thinking of getting it. But it says that they weigh 30 grams less than retail 1100 shafts, is this a bad thing as the shafts are not designed to be lighter and they might break but that doesn't become a problem for a nhl'er?

Its robataille by the way. B)

Nope not a big deal, i have my sticks custom and when ur a prostock stick person they ask you if you want to beef it up or make it lighter and making it lighter dont have a bigg impact on streght INNO is already a crazy company for durability

Accordint to the Pro rep of INNO/Warrior, Pro stock sticks are generally beefed up in certain areas, and lightened up in others. They tend to lighten up more areas rather than beef them up, resulting in lighter sticks. We all know what happens when sticks get lighter.....

if its anymore than $50 I would pass, I had a couple prostock 1100's that were auctually Hespeler Nemesis's painted over as 1100's, they were fine as one pieces, but both snapped in the middle when they were tapered shafts, however the auctual Innovative shafts i've had, were excellent, the pro stock is hit or miss though.

It's sandpaper-esque, but not sandpaper. It won't wear out your gloves. It's just a little rough textured, and not tacky like some of the grips out there. I have an older 1100 shaft with polarfiber and it's been one of my best shafts.

I have got that exact shaft and it has a normal feel to it. No polarfibre.

Would you mind telling me a bit about how the shaft performs and its durbabilty please? Also as its clearcoat is it really slippy or not too slippy?

Also is it real stiff or does it give a bit when shooting?

Cheers B)

Its a lot like the Harrow grip. I HATE grip, but I love how my harrow v.3 feels. Its hard to explain.. its a very light texture and it feels solid (doesnt feel like its going to peel off like the older eastons). I love it because my hands slide when I need them too, but I also have better grip.. letting me have more confidence in my shot.
