I was told very recently that Anaheim, Buffalo, and possibly the LA Kings were switching colors and that Anaheim is considering a new nickname.

I actually would like to see them drop the black and go with yellow, purple and silver in a style like their older jerseys, but an "updated" version featuring the current crown and silver added in on the lines and numbers -

I could definitely do without the purple and gold personally... just too loud. But I can't say I'm at all suprised both Anaheim and LA are switching. I think it's been around 6 or 7 years in the black and purple for the Kings and these days that's a pretty good stretch for a uni style. And well, Anaheim, with the new owners probably would like to loose the Disney tie-in. Besides, eggplant isn't really a good hockey color.

I grew up in Anaheim and I could live with Anaheim Ducks as opposed to the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim as long as they have a new logo, jersey, color scheme

I haven't seen the pants and all companies don't have to go this route, only one.

I would guess it would have to be RBK/THC. They seem to have the deals like that and it would make sense as they supply the tighter fitting jerseys

I think if the leafs switched jersey styles, they should change the shoulder logo to a clover to represent the St Pats and use TML on the helmets. A colour other than blue would be a nice change

I think that would be cool. Like what the canucks did with the shoulder patch with the old jersey but with the newer colours.

I thought that the Sabres were rumored to be going back to the Blue and Gold for the 06-07 season. I remember seeing an article somewhere after those concpet jerseys were seen.

Black does get old. I personally couldn't believe it when the old idiot owners allowed the team to change to that stupid color scheme. They are all in jail now for embezzlement

If anyone does have a link to some info regarding this change back to the blue and gold, please let us know.
