Bob Gainey has apparently travelled with the team to Colorado to meet with Pierre Lacroix and a big trade should be announced soon by both teams. The names of the players haven't been annouced but apparently it's not draft picks that they would trade. I'll keep you guy's posted on this.

I just heard that it should be announced just following the game tonight. I heard that the it is a 3-way between the Avs, Pens and Habs. I AM NOT POSITIVE, THIS IS JUST WHAT I HEARD ON THE AVS MESSAGE BOARD

I'm hearing lots of stuff, some people say Theo and Ribs for Tanguay and Aebisher. Other say that the Pens might also be on this 3some and Fleury might be comming to Montreal.

I still don't know if trading Theo is the right move. When he is on...he's easily one of the best in the league. He's struggling right now...but, unless the D plays better...MA might not have any better luck than Theo.

I'd rather it be Hejduk than Tanger right now. Tanguay is on fire and Hejuk is playing not even close to his ability right now. If it came down to either sending Hejduk or Tanguay packing, I would say send Hejduk.

From an Avs perspective I hope this deal DOESNT happen.

Strap it on for this year and free up cap space by dumping Blake ... like we should have done in the first place.

If it has to happen make it the Duke and not Tanger. Hell see game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals a few years ago as to why.

In my eyes Aebischer is not a proven #1 goalie. If he played on a weaker team....I don´t know...and if he goes to the Pens.. The Pens already have an overpaid underachiever in net. Makes no sense at all.

Wow, I can't imagine Pittsburgh trading Fleury away, especially with their season too far gone as it is. If anything you'd think they'd just send him back to the minors. However I'm watching the Pens/Jackets game right now and both Tarnstrom and Fleury are scratched. Malone has the Pens lone goal right now.

*Edit - Forgot to mention this doesn't help Pittsburgh at all where they need it either, DEFENSE.

If the Pens trade Fleury, they had better get a great goalie in return. Right now they have no one other than Fleury. Sabourin has given up 3 goals in the first 15 minutes of the first period. If I was the Pens GM the only player that I would not be looking to trade would be Crosby and Fleury.
