Anyone here play on statewars? If so does your team still play around together? Didnt know if it was just us. About six of us still get together and get on a team to compete. i heard it was against all tournaments rules (torhs, narch, topcat, crown)

to have a statewars team play together as a team. Our 90 team was going to do that we knew we'd kill every one so we didnt go. But is it allowed, if we boot one player? We wouldnt techinaclly be the statewars team, we'd be a team, with alot of statewars players. :D WE dont want to do this to stomp on everybody, but to play in some tournys together before the next statewars would be an advantage.

I played last year in the 85-86 division. Wasn't that much fun for me (being from Nebraska) we didn't have enough players so they decided to throw on players from 88-89 divisions. Probably just to get us to go. We got killed and ended up pretty much last. We had a terrible coach and young players, too young. The tournament itself was very cool and I liked the venue. Just a bad team experience. Hopefully they have an adult division again this year cause I might field an adult team just to save myself from playing on a put-together team again. I might just go to RC nationals again this year and skip out on state wars.

NARCh has nothing against that, and no offense but an All State team outside of a place such as CA wouldn't roll through everyone..

actually you should bring your team to NARCh Platinum....and see how you do...

but I doubt you could hang with the Wolfpack, Velocity or Revision

ca, ny, nj, maybe pa. other than that, not a lot else. even florida isn't that strong anymore

NY fielded a strong team last year. From what I recall, it was alot of mission empire state guys?

In any case, my home state didn't do very badly at all. This years state wars falls in line with alot of my stuff that's VERY important for school, so maybe I can try it out.

Nebraska? Ouch. I've had the misfortune of staying in Grand Island. You poor soul.

What was funny to watch was Team Tennessee! I believe the joke going around the rink was that only 1 of their teams was able to make it out of the first period due to the slaugher rule.

Are you sure it was tennessee, it very well could have been us. Everytime we scored a goal (even though it was like 6-0 already) we would celebrate like it was christmas morning. Terrible team. That bad. We actually looked forward to going back to our hotal room, and playing ghost recon or drive around in chicago.

I'm almost positive it was Tennessee. This is also the adult division I was talking about. Ugly orange jerseys. Those boys should have been in a Adult 'C' League.

Man, our Georgia 86-85 team was just as bad. Those poor guys spent all that money to lose every game they played. Pretty sad. State Wars should be fun this year, I am planning on going again.

Anyone here play for Team Indiana...I know, roller hockey in Indiana might not be top notch, just wondering as I'm thinking about trying out this summer for the 88's. Also, does anyone remember seeing or playing against Team Indiana and if they were decent or any good at all?

True, we wouldnt roll through everyone, especially those you named, we may give them a good game, maybe not. But I want to know if its against the rules or not?
