Michael Farber wrote a pretty good in-depth article about Ovechkin for the Jan 9 edition of Sports Illustrated. I think he used to write for the Montreal Gazette, too.

The link above points to the beginning of the story. For the rest, you need a subscription to Sports Illustrated; if you don't have it, maybe you can find a copy at the library / news-stand.

Can I ask what you searched for on www.bugmenot.com then? So far, searches for "www.si.com, si.com, www.sportsillustrated.com, sportsillustrated.com, sports illustrated, SI, cnn.com, and sportsillustrated.cnn.com" have all come up with nothing but usernames and passwords, no subscription #s. I may be missing something painfully obvious here, so I apologize if that's the case.

Edit. Searching for

also turned up a couple user names and passwords, but no subscription #.
