my height and sticks

hey does anyone else here have this problem. im about 5'5 right now and im 14. The problem is that if i get an intermediate stick, i always have to cut it a decnet amount and it kills the flex. I cant use a 50 flex because thats WAY too whippy. anyone got any ideas of a good stick to use that would be in a size between a Jr and an INT, but have more flex than a jr (mabe a 65-75)?

Almost everything in a TPS intermediate is pretty whippy, about 65 or so flex, but not as soft as a junior. Maybe look for int. Rubbers or Redlite. I've never seen an int. R2 shaft before if you're thinking tapered. Maybe someone else has, but I've never seen them for sale.

nah not tapered. and how long are they? someone on here had a inno 440 flex (i want that sooo bad) and inno dosnet make them anymore. anyone know where to find them. i think it was rh_joel that has it

TPS's web site says 47" for int. Redlite. If you pull the plug out you may only have to cut 1" off, or none at all.

Look for a sher-wood force flex in 60 flex. They have a huge plug in them that makes it almost senior length. I played with a guy who used to use then and he's 5-10 or so. I doubt cutting the plug will make much difference in flex and you should be anle to find them cheap.

If a junior stick isnt to short for you a jr. ultra lite is 65 flex.

I have that very problem too, what i did was buy a shaft with 80 flex and cut it down to my perfect height (iam 5 4 so i had to cut quite a bit, once my sitck was cut it was stiff but after contiuous use it feels like a 85 flex right now which is not too bad.

are u all sure about your height. because my brother is 5'4" and intermidite fits him fine, and he doesn't cut a thing off and with senior he cuts like 3" off.

Ya its where you like your stick. I'm 5'3 and still use a junior stick. The intermediates are too tall and stiff, then again im not that strong, I find the Bauer 52 is good for me.

You may want to look into Ballistik sticks. They have a whippy 70 that's cheap and cheerful.

go for the Tps Response in int. They are shorter and more whippier than the synergys. I personally cant use them i snap them even tho i only 5'3 i use a 100 flex and i flex it really easy altho i like my sticks very stiff.
