As most of y'all know since I posted in my own thread, didn't know this one existed. Broken fibula/dislocated ankle. 8 screws into a plate and 1 screw to hold the bone together.

I get my walking boot in 2 weeks!!

EDIT: Also have sustained a 2 concussions (1 from football) and a broken finger. Other than that I've been relatively healthy from 6 years of football and 4 years of hockey.

2 Concussions and a dislocated knee.

My first only fight with no helmet I thought I lost hearing in my left ear but it slowly came back the next day.

wow you must look like the tx chainsaw massacre guy with all those stitches

Not really.... the worst was the stitches in the upper lip\mouth both inside and outside (could put my tongue through my upper lip)... got 15 in the upper lip - 8 outside and 7 inside - another four in the lower - 3 outside one inside - from that incident ) they actually had a specialist sew it up in the ER ..... it healed really clean and big scar is right along the lip line and is covered by the mustache. The others were gathered over about 35 years and in several cases there are scars on top of scars. The ones in the forehead have kinda faded into wrinkles as I got older.

Wow, I hope some of you guys are getting paid to play hockey........"

What a novel idea... you mean they pay you to play hockey? Where can I sign up? I'm 44 years old and 50 pounds over my playing weight but I'll give it a go... ha ah!

I recently grew like 8 inches in 2-3 years which caused my hip alignment to be off, I think one of my legs are/were shorter than the other one, too. At first this caused lower back pain so I couldn't skate for a couple weeks. After a chiropractor appointment I was as good as new. But then the first week back something weird happened where I lost my balance, jumped in the air doing a 180 then landing on one knee. It screwed my back up again because my femur was align with my spine. Another chiropractor appointment fixed that. It's been 2 seasons since then and all I've had is sore wrists, a hyper-extended pinky, and a bruised quad after a cheap hit.
