alright so prom is rolling around and you know how you gotta ask the girl wayyy in advance..soo ive got some ideas rolling around in my head, but i was just wondering if you romantics out there got any great ways on asking a gal to prom B)

Just act like you're the man and be confident. Then ask her to go to prom. Don't be a wuss and ask her online or something. Just be confident, don't hold back. If you do you'll sound nervous.

Also, think about the good things that could happen, not the bad. If you focus on imagining her saying yes after you asking her flawlessly, you won't mess up. But if you picture yourself messing up, stuttering, or her saying no, odds are you'll screw up.

lucky, my senior year prom plan B turned into babysitting drunken idiot friends half the night. But all seriousness aside, just ask. Just waltz on up and say "So, what are you doing for prom? I'd really like to take you." done and done. Confident sounding, not too elaborate, not a ton to think about with it. Just ask.

Walk up, look her up and down and say "I think you'll do. You're going to need a red dress to match my tux." Keep a dead straight face. There is no way she'll say no. Besides, she's probably hoping you'll ask her anyway if there is already chemistry between you two.

Here is what I did- I left class early before lunch and with a cupple of buddies, we stole the wheels off of her truck. We hid in my truck with a video camera and filmed her reaction. Think of this- you are coming out to the student parking lot and there is a Pathfinder on cinder blocks. You are going to stop and stare. So there were a good 150 people or so crowded around then they figured out the deal and all starting laughing. She was flipping out because she was going to drive all of her friends to lunch but her truck had no wheels. Then she saw a note I left on her windshield-"IF YOU WANT YOUR WHEELS BACK GO TO PROM WITH ME. OTHERWISE THEY GO UP ON EBAY." She loved it.

haha, solid. I went to HS with my girlfriend right now, she was in my English class and sat 2 desks over from me. I never said a WORD to her, and I thought she was a lesbian because she only really hung around with her one girl friend :lol:

harrgh, don't get me started on highschool relationships and prom and marriage. I was lucky, the girl I took, captain cheerleader, asked me to take her in a text message haha. No work :)

I would just strait up ask her, or write it down and give it to her on paper, but dont walk away, be there for her to say yes or no.

Like everybody else, just ask her straight up. However, if you give her a caveat that if a better looking girl asks you you'll go with them, it won't matter. She'll still be pissed. Also, don't offer to give her one of your and the other girl's prom pictures.

If you've been going with her for a year, you don't need to ask, it should be a given. The question you should be asking her is which hotel do you want to stay at..
