7000 or 8000 Supreme

Recommended Posts

B) Just a quick quiz

Since I'm not a Graf person....

Which would you choose: Supreme 7000 or 8000 and why??

I'm currently in 1996 vintage 3000 Supremes and would like the same fit

Would the 8000's fit similar to a 6000

I tried the 6000 on and they feel a little on the wide side (my old 3000's are a C width)

Would the 8000 be available in a C and where could they be had??

That will be a tough find. 8000 has out of production since 2004. Also, C width was not a stock boot back then.

What he said. Also you could try the Missin L series. Those boys are narrrrowww. Even in an E.

If you have your heart set on Bauer skates, you might have to wait for the new 06 models.

I'm using a pair of pro stock 7000's now and I love them.

I like a stiffer boot but I haven't noticed them to be overly stiff compared to the other skates I've owned.

I would go for the 8000. Not nearly as stiff as the 7000 and as mentioned before a better fit. ;)

not an option but i would get bauer supreme 8090s.

i love mine, and they have ls2s

but im thinking since he asked for 7000 or 8000 he would want a much more durable skate than the 8090s

the 8090s are supposed to be very durable(lasting 2+ years i think)...

i have 8000's and love them, the fit is great and they are lighter than the 7000's (Not a big deal if you ask me). I have had both the 7000 and the 8000 and both were good. The 8000 are my favorites. Another member and i have a review in the skate review section, you should check it out.

:P I tried the 8090 on and waaaay to deep of a boot. Durabality is a must, as I have 9 years on my old Supreme 3000's (Pro Stock-actually were supposed to be Bill Guerin's from the 96 Olympic team!-Still have the part of the box with the label!! :) )

I was told that if I can find them that the 7 and 8000's series would be the closest fit to my old skates.

I got real lucky and I think I've got a line on some C width 7000's-I will find out tomorrow-These would be ideal.

If not I found a D width 8000 and will have to settle for the less than Coffey snug
