Carbon Fiber T-Blades - Pics Inside

Recommended Posts

The folks at T-blades were nice enough to send these to my local hockey shop. Here are pictures of the new carbon fiber T-blades. They are made with a carbon fiber reinforced plastic. They are lighter and stiffer than the normal glass fibre T-blades. They are compatible with the normal T-blade runners, stablizers, and clips.

These were shipped with ice-blue metallic stablizers (will probably switch to chrome) and clips and black M-13-280 runners. I had them mounted on my Vapor XXXs.

UPDATED TO INCLUDE BETTER PICS:

These look great but, a chrome plastic holder with chrome stab would look cool, i think it the mix of colors between the XXX and t,blades that make it look so cool.

Is it actually ligther than LS2?does it feel different?

I say stick with the colors you have now, I think that scheme looks the best of any combo I've seen, well except for my all black t-blades on my graf 705s lol

Yes, the T-Blades are considerably lighter than the LS2s. The carbon T-blade holders are also much, much stiffer than the TUUKs.

I have only skated on them once (dodging kids at a weekend public skate) but I feel like I am putting more power on the ice with the t-blades. Skating feels more effortless and natural. The glide is very smooth on both fresh and heavily cut up ice.

could you give me news 2-3 weeks after you skated in them,Please. I had t'blade for like 2 years and then turned back to LS2, it felt so much better with a profile with the ls2. Maybe it like me, there is some hype and you think they are very nicer.

those are amazing looking

i want a pair

Keep in mind, A LOT of people used t,blade and switch back to normal blade or some didn't want them because they would cost too much or for X reason they didn't use them.

Now that a new models is out, everybody want them, that make no sens. If you don't like synergy, why would you buy the new Stealth grip stick? It is actually the same idea.

But i'm with you, i used t,blades and i didn't hated them, they were just so much pricey!(25cnd for around 5-10hours!)and with this new model, ligther( i have this hype''the ligther the better'') It make me think about switching back but T'BLADES is still t'blades.

So i'm staying with my LS2 and the guy who sharpen is a pro!!so i can also get custom profile!

But if they were doing a holder like this for normal blade, I would be the first to buy it! Why don't T'blades think about making Holder for Normal blade!!

The picture with the birds-eye view of the bottom looks like the holders are mounted off center. Quite a bit off center actually. I don't normally see this kind of thing but this looks quite obvious to me. It'll be interesting to see what JR has to say if/when he sees that pic.

Holy shnikes. I didn't even bother looking at any of the pics until you said that.

You guys are not seeing things. The holder on the right boot is mounted crooked. It pulls badly to the left.

The interesting thing is the original TUUK holder from the factory was mounted crooked on the right boot also. I had to have the TUUK holder remounted. It makes me wonder if the shop used the factory holes to mount the T-blades.

The left boot is perfect. It tracks perfectly straight.
