Apparently this all went down, which honestly isn't surprising considering how much of a gongshow college lax is, but Mike Pressler is a great coach (see: http://www.lax.com/stories/1586) and they esentially tarnished the entire school/program's name. It's too bad to see great athletes opportunities ripped apart because of things like these..

Funny part of this is that a guy on my team has an "unofficial" verbal (you can't 'legally' talk with players until their senior year I believe) commitment with Duke, for 2007/08. Wonder how that will go

I worked with a guy who played DIV 1 Football at a powerhouse school. He said it was UNREAL.

I was too ambiguous with that one. I meant that because of 3 guys' actions, the rest of the team has to suffer. Obviously stuff like this was going on at other times, throughout the years, but I am sure that no one took it this far, and now that this has happened it ruined some great opportunities for people..

A kid who grew up down the street from me, and was several years older, went to school and came back with a brand new car a couple months later. And this was at a school whose coach has a VERY solid reputation. He went on to play for a couple of pro teams but wasn't a star.

That's sad, many little kids look up to these guys thinking they are GOD or something, I know they aren't perfect and don't think THAT highly of them, but for the little guys who do, they shoulda known better!

They wrapped it before they tapped it, good to know they practice safe sex. It doesn't mean that nothing happened. Once the investigation is finally complete, more info will be out. No reason to rush to judge one way or the other.

It's not just semen, the stripper's claim since day one was she fought off the attackers and scratched them all up. They found zero dna under her nails.

Also, there's pictures of before the party where she already shows all the injuries she claimed came from the party.

Not to mention her best friend has called her story BS since day one.

My buddy at duke told me the judge declared them undeniably guilty before even examining the case. He also told me that the elections are right away and this was something he had to do if he wanted to win basically. Another thing, I guess that there's been drive by beatings and threatenings at Duke now after this... my friend said it was from "gangstas" so take that as you want, either way he said, going out at night is sketchy now.
