A Massachusetts developer wants to buy the Penguins and either keep the hockey team in the city or move them to Hartford, Conn., where he is trying to get state officials to build a new arena, a newspaper reported Friday.

ESPN hates the hurricanes because the left CT, ESPN being located in bristol i understand why, but they never show hurricnaes highlights on sportscenter its so retarded

im pretty sure the nhl board of governors wont let that fly, if they move anywhere its more than likely going to be kansas city

Yeah, but I mean I've made 3+ hour trips to see the Flames games, and Im not even a Flames fan.

I've made 5+ hours to see Oilers games.

They never show any hockey highlights, but Carolina gets as much attention as anyone not based in NYC. The other night they showed highlights of two games for a total of 60 seconds and one was the 'Canes. I've tried to watch a couple Carolina games this season and they really haven't been that entertaining.

I hope they come, I live about 15 minutes from downtown hartford, however...just like karmanos did with CT, and patriots owner robert kraft did, people just love to jerk our chains and not give us any sports teams.
