Adrenaline Shock Insert

I broke my Adrenaline a while back and I decided to see if I could find the insert. Looked down the shaft towards the blade and saw nothing. I heated the blade up and pulled it out and still nothing. Then I took the butt and out of the other half of the shaft and looked down it and to my suprise saw no light. After jamming at it a 3" long rubber type spring shot out of the shaft. After looking at it a while I decided to put it into the shaft of my XXX Lite. I hope it will do the same thing as the Adrenaline as far as feel goes. Anyone else seen the insert or tried this? I thought it was quite wierd how TPS decided to put the insert at the top of the shaft instead of towards the blade.

Ya its like an air filled rubber bladder. Pretty cool if you ask me. Did it fit into your XXX mega?

Yeah, I just kinda slid it into the shaft untill it jammed. It fit really well, I can't wait to see if it will actually do something to the XXX Lite. Did you take it out or your adrenaline Kovalchuk?

Not yet, but I will when it breaks :)....Lemme know how it works. Id really like to know. I didnt thin it would slide into a shaft

I cut my sticks short enough that it is at the butt end ;). I cant put anyhthing in there now

Hespeler had two rubber plugs in the shaft. One in the neck, one in the middle of the shaft.

Trust me, they are infringing. I remember when they developed the Adrenaline - Hespeler's Alpha Nemesis was already out.

Not really, it was probably 20 or so grams. It is made of like a silicone type substance. It had groves in it too, almost like the neck of a pour spout on the neck of a liquer bottle that the Bars put on them. Accept the rubber was thicker, the whole thing was about 3" long, I should have taken a picture.

Thats sweet next time I see a broken adrenaline I need to try get the shock for my stick.

Yeah, I've played 2 games with it and it actually did help the vibration. It shows me that it actually works and isn't just in my head from TPS's marketing. So yes it does work, but as far as feel goes nothing has change. I am getting great life out of my XXX Lite too 2 months + now, I guess it's unusual.
