Say goodbye to the canucks *tear*

But they haven't played like they wanted to get into the playoffs. Losing to Edmonton Saturday night was the first sign. Oh well... go Pronger!

GO SHARKS!

Love my team! I feel like shaking Cheechoo/Thornton/Bernie's hands. Great effort by all on the team though. I hope we play Nashville since Vokoun is out indefinitely!

Mason's been balls-out though, so who knows.

I'm disappointed in the Canucks going out. Obviously for not making it, but almost more so for the way they just failed to show up for the strech run. At least go out with a fight boys. I think there will be a very different looking team there next season.

I'll wait a day or two to speculate on what players could/should get moved to spread their brand of mediocrity around the league, but for now I think you could see Crow be sent on his way. He's just not squeezing results, and chemistry, out of these clowns wearing the jersey. They should be a fast skating, hard hitting team because they have youth, size, and talent. What we get is the puck being brought out of the zone at a medium pace night after night, setting up plays that a 6 year old in a Tim Horton's uniform could read, anticipate, and break up.

Damn! If they were just a bottom dwelling team with no hope for years past and future, it would be easier to deal with than seeing them be the 'almost made it' team. Almost made it to the playoffs this year. Years past: Almost made it past Calgary. Almost made it past Minnesota. Almost made it past Detroit. They give you a dangle of hope, then yank it. On the plus side, at least we didn't have to watch Cloutier screw up another playoff for the team.

What other team in the league looks as good on paper and doesn't produce?

Watching the fight for #8 I´ve been wondering if the Oilers would break in and they didin´t really play that great since the deadline. Roloson didn´t help them much either but honestly, the way the Canucks played they didin´t deserve it because they were even worse. Although the Wings are a powerhouse I think right now the Sharks are the team to watch in the West.

Disappointed the Canucks didn't make it. Nonis needs a big overhaul for the team next year. Start by getting rid of Morrison, as we saw Kesler can fit the bill nicely. Get Anson resigned at any price. Get an actual number one goalie by packaging Clouts with someone else.

You're doomed when your 2nd line outplays your 1st line for the whole season. Dump Bertuzzi and the stigma he brings, find some actual defenceman, a goalie and you're set.

Canucks Defence wont be bad next year, I think it'll be good... Jovanovski, Ohlund, Bourdon, Salo.. fill in the blanks and they'll be set. A goalie, if Auld can get some confidence, he could be good a starter. Dump Bertuzzi, and Naslund, or else Morrison, Naslund is supposed to be a franchise player, but what kind of franchise player can only play with a certain player on his line (Bertuzzi).

Don't jinx us! Remeber who backed up Belfour in Dallas? I'm not scared of Calgary, I want revenge.

That being said...GO SHARKS! Time to rock the beard.

For the Nucks it all starts a the goalie. That needs to get addressed first then a new coach and get rid of that basket case Bert. Your team IQ will then increase by leaps and bounds.

I wonder if they could move Bertuzzi and Naslund, and keep Crawford? If Nonis did that, it would show the players that the coach (whoever it is) is in charge, and Vancouver could get somebody decent for Naslund at least.

crawford is staying, bert may be gone but the canucks r just a joke in the playoffs anyways, at least this time i didn't have to watch them get beat out by a worse team.
