MissConduct

My problems. :(

I wouldn't suggest an Ultralite 85. My Ultralite 85 is definitely stiffer than any 85 Synergy or even Zbubble I've ever tried. I prefer my Ultralite though, as I'm a big fan of about a 90 flex. I find Bauer's flex ratings to be pretty accurate.

just bought a no-named TPS Adrenaline at Nationals ($129).. can anyone tell me how I determine if it's WHIP? I looked at ALL the adrenalines they said either XX-stiff, stiff or regular, but mine said nothing and flexed better than a 85flex bauer.. but im unsure cause it's not marked.. anyone? ideas? hehehe and maybe who's curve it is? hehe

Is there any sequence of numbers with a letter for a prefix or suffix on the stick?

Check the sticker on the butt end. It may have some numbers. Also check the inside of the shaft where the butt end is inserted for numbers or letters. PS: Could you pick me up one of those in a regular flex?!?!

Or your not used to it yet ;)

Gotta give it more than 5 min.

yea.. LOL.. women eh? :D i'll try it out again Friday

With a big jump in flex like that, you will have to change your shooting tempo/motion.

does it matter that it's also about 1 to 1 1/2 longer then the warrior? I dunno.. that's why I ask you guys cause you have the hockey equipment smarts ;)

If my sticks are more than 1/4" different I can feel the difference and it drives me nuts. Do they both have the same lie?

no idea.. but used it last night for the whole game and got caught in my own end trying to clear the puck many times couldnt get any "wood" on it.. just waaaaaaaaaaay to whippy... so 5 minutes left I switched to the Warrior took a slap-shot from the point and scored.. ha.. probably just coincidence, but either way im selling the TPS.. lol

I finally found a women's league that allows slapshots and I'm a defencemen so I heavily rely on that good slapshot I USED to have *cries*

I'm 5'8 around 165lbs

any ideas to help me out

Do you still shoot your slapshots off your back skate? (I think you asked about your shooting off your back skate in another post somewhere).

If so, maybe try a 75-flex.

yep yep thats me! :D

I'm watching Game 5 of the 2006 Det Edm series, and on the 1st goal Pronger takes the puck from Pisani on the left point to shoot a one-time slap shot off his back skate. It was the only way, because the puck was so close to the boards.

He's the only NHL defenseman that I see doing this...
