Which number look better on an hockey jersey?

Hi, I'm buying a jersey on

I end up my choice with these 3 number, since their number is restricted.(if not i would have choose the 81/97 or ''8'' but i don't think i have enought talents to wear it!!!LOL)

If you have any other number, please JUST MARK THE NUMBER.

If you're Chinese and superstitious, then you'd go want it in this order:

1) 88

2) 18

3) 44

I'm not superstitious lol. I just think some number look better than other.like the 26 or 2, who could call them ''lost number'' lol

I just like the number 8. so my choice is more based on the 88 or 18.

I voted for 18. I'm old school when it comes to numbers.

In general:

Goalies wear 1 or a low 30 something.

Defence wear single digits (especially the lower numbers)

Forwards wear 10-29 (but it's okay for them to use the high single digit numbers)

I can understand the need for a few "flashy numbers" based on teams retiring jerseys, but in my old school opinion it's gotten out of hand. I don't have to like it, but I'm gettting use to it but find comfort in AO's #8 selection.

jjtt99, I am defenceman, and would be #2,3,4 but my favorite player is #15, I am #15. But I do agree with your post.
