shockdoctor insoles

Recommended Posts

I have vapor XXX and a foot injury that has been naggin at me for years. Will the shock doctor insoles make any difference for my uncomfortable foot pain? I did have an orthotic in my skate but i took it out because the pain went down. Will the shock doctor just feel better in general or does it not make a difference?

id put them back in. My foot & ankle specialish told me not to take them out of my skates. I tend to trust him because he's also the flyers foot doctor. try playing with them again and use the shock docs too.

I personally don't like the feel of the ShockDoctor insoles, I tried them in a pair of Bauer 5000s a few years about and some Graf 705s recently and they just dont feel right to me personally...

I use them in my old Vector 4.0's that I use for shinny, because I couldn't the UltimaDry ones that came with them out fast enough, even hanging right above the fire. And then I lost the left handed one, so I bought the Shock Doctor and WOW I could play shinny for 10+ hours and not get tired it was pretty cool. And now I can have one set of inserts drying at home while I'm out playing and so whenever I go home I can have a dry set of inserts. Great if you're a shinny bum.

I got tired of the crappy stock insoles that came in my graf and bauers so I switched to shock doctors. They lasted me a good 2 seasons, and they helped with the arch pain I was experiencing in my grafs and 8090s. In my current V-12s I left the stock insoles in there and they gave me extreme pain in the arch the first month and a half without the shock doctors. I haven't used the shock doctors in a year but I wouldn't hesitate to purchase them again.

I wish I could find some CCM FIT insoles for my roller skates. They are faaaaarr more superior than shockdoctors(what I have in my mission rh skates).

Sole has a new one that is for low vloume footwear likes skates ans ski boots. Might wnat to give that a try. I agree that there original model is too thick. I am thinking about trying the new one though.

had the chance to meet the owner in SF last week, looking forward to trying them out..

figure if Dean relies on them to run 135 mile races across Death Valley they will be a nice enhancement for the rest of us....

How do the Shockdoctor's compare in volume to the Graf stock insoles? I'd like something somewhat similar, I don't want my skates to be significantly looser or snugger or anything like that.

I believe its one of the lowest areas at points too..it starts at below sea level and finishes high up in the Altitude..the race (Badwater) used to be 146 miles but everyone would have to run back down the mountain to their crew vehicles after finishing

yes..its damn hot..you have to run on the white stripe to keep your shoe soles from melting during the peak heat..and if someone passes you a piece of bread from a car window it turns into toast!

check out enduranceis.com for some info on a guy who did 2 solo training runs out there..he's nuts..

anyway...after I get some time on the footbeds I'll post a review..

I would give the superfeet a try. They're not thick like the shock doctors. I have Shock Doctors and keep them in my bag as backups in case I forget one of the superfeet when drying my gear out. However, it does change the volume of your boot. I'd go with the Superfeet. They foam is thin and dense so it won't change your boot volume. The arch support is great. Takes a while to get used to but once you do, they're awesome. Buy them, and if you don't like them, just return them. Superfeet has a 60 day money-back garauntee on their footbeds so you don't really waste any money. If you like them, keep em.
