RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted May 29, 2006 He's probably going.... DAMN they sent me to Canada. This can't be happening to me. They didn't SEND him...he choose to come to the CFL. If anything, The 'phins DON'T want him to play. Mike Clemons is probably goign to be good for him. Guys like Andre Rison, RJ Soward, and a few other "troubled" NFL guys have gone up top play for Pinball, and have been model citizens. If he stays healthy (and clean) he's gonna shread the CFL this year. A few guys at work who are Miami fans are both going to get Argos jerseys this season *L*

The Dolphins could have flat our said NO, and he wouldn't be in the CFL...they had to "let" him come up here, regardless of the drug suspension. Just because he is suspended doesn't mean he can come ot the CFL..he is still under contract to an NFL team, so they get a say in what he does.At least that is my understanding of it. jjtt99 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2006 I wonder if he'll be able to resist his pot-head habits when he comes to Vancouver to play against the BC Lions?I'm guessing there will be a few signs in the stadium making mention of that.By the way, did you know that Pamela Anderson was discovered when she was attending a BC Lions CFL game? No kidding. The camera found this hottie in the crowd, splashed her up on the big screen. A Labatt Beer rep was there and said we have to get this girl in an ad. The rest is history. Trippingblue 1 Report post Posted May 31, 2006 If the man can win the Heisman and be #1 draft pick and kick major ass while higher than Redman at the Source Awards, then more power to him I say. They need to keep him stoned just to level out the playing field.--nick--

kosydar 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2006 I heard today that Onterrio Smith signed to play up in the CFL as well. Obviously not nearly as good of a player as Ricky, but a pothead nonetheless.
RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted June 1, 2006 a guy like him on the field like we have wont be fair, he'll tear the league to pieces NFL LB'sDerrick Brooks 6'0" 235lbsJoey Porter 6'3" 250lbsBrian Urlacher 6'4" 258lbsCFL LB'sAgustin Barrenachea 6'2" 235lbsAJ Gass 6'2" 205lbsScott Coe 6'3" 229lbsBascially, the NFL LB's average (I'm guessing) 6'0-6"2 230-260lbsCFL LB's (& Def HB's) are like 20-30 lbs lighter (on average). RB's aren't as big as Ricky either (Troy Davis is one of the premier CFL RB's...he's 5'8" 183lbs). It's going to be a COLLOSAL mis-match when Ricky breaks through the D-Line to the Linebacks and Secondary guys. You're totally right....He's going to OWN the CFL this season. PBRyan 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2006 For sure he will. When he's actually playing it's not that hard to argue he's one of the 5 best RBs in the NFL. I mean he played awesome the last 6 games of last season and was siting on his ass watching fantasia and doing yoga for a year.
Cheesehead 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2006 i think he will tear it up if he passes all the drug tests, or doesnt get injured.
mrusse01 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2006 Well he didn't rip up the league tonight, 7 yards or something. The CFL is a more wide-open game than the NFL, Ricky is more suited to running between the tackles in the NFL, although he sure does have enough speed once he breaks into the secondary. I think he will do really well if he can get involved in the passing game catching balls out of the backfield, but generally the CFL favours more of what would be considered a third down back in the NFL. It will be interesting to see how dominant he is or isn't this year for the Argos.
McCabe24 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2006 He could be great but it depends on how much he puts into it and how they use him, both should go hand in hand but they could also use a Holmes/Johnson type attack with Avery getting two out of every three series. Only having three downs could come into play as well, what if he only plays one down a series? Whatever though, I have been a Ricky fan for years and he should be an above average player when it is all said and done, should be picking up a jersey whenever I can find one.
