Will a large itech 905 RBE III cage

Recommended Posts

Just curious, I have a cage from my old helmet, but its a bit rusty round the screwholes, so was wondering if the Itech large will fit the bauer XL helmet.

I previously wore the bauer 1000 large helmet, but I have a massive heed, so got the XL 4500, which is a dream compared to the other, but was going to just put a new cage on, instead of this older rusty looking one.

Cheers

Cage size doesn't really equal helmet size, you can mix and match and see what works. I've yet to see an XL cage so you'll have to stick with a L cage.

Pretty much the only combo you'd have trouble with, size-wise, is a Small cage on a Large (or XL) helmet. But if you need that big of a helmet, you probably don't have that short of a face...

I actually had to put a small cage on a large helmet for a customer, but only once. This kid had a massive, bowling ball-shaped head.

Just make sure your chin fits in the cup and you will be fine.

Didn't want to make a new topic so I'll ask here while we're on the subject.

I'm wearing a medium 8k helmet and have a large CCM/Jofa 480 Cage on it that fits perfectly. I'm going to be getting that new 908Ti titanium Itech cave soon, so does anyone know how length compares on that to the 480? Would I stick with the large or go down to medium?
