Going to pick up One90 gloves today

Recommended Posts

I'm driving 45 minutes to the big hockey shop near me to pick them up and I want to know if there's anything that comes with them that might not be in the bag or I have to ask for. I read how the XXX had extra palms, but they weren't always in the bag or do I get a warranty card or something. Also any defects to look for?

no theres nothing with the one90 gloves because the palm on them is a wrap around style palm going to the inside or outside I cant remember which side. But as for defects try them on and try and make sure that the threads on the pinky arent too long. Other than that nothing else. And the XXX gloves dont come with palms anymore for some reason

Yeah I just came home with them and the only thing extra I got was extra long tags screaming "cut me off" and two cardboard rings. The gloves are so sweet though. They feel like Nike took the Drifit department and had them build a hockey glove.

Glad you like them. I personally tried them out 2 days ago and couldnt stand them. I also tried the Easton S9 and thought they were a much better feeling glove.

excuse me but i highly disagree whbd the one90 is like wearing a batting glove with padding its unreal how that glove feels on ones hand

the S9 felt to me like a stiff hunk o' glove that felt like something from the early 00's nothing about it really impressed me thats all

I agree, the one90 felt great, S9 felt like crap.

I also like the vector pros, not the pro tacks. I used to be in love with the Bauer XX and XXX, but the vector pros and one90s blow them out of the water.

i have a nike version of the one90 glove (it was a prototype) that ive been using for quite some time and i think they're amazing. The only thing i would check on would be the sizing. Im normally a 14" but they're sized small so i had to get a 15" after they were sent to me

i still like my XXX's

imo it feels like the fingers get in the way of each other

I feel exactly the same way, the two fingers beside the thumb seemed to rub on each other

eagles still beat any glove on the market in my opinion B)

I think MIA does because they have better feeling fingers and there not as expensive

Yeah, it should feel somewhat the same...hmm...and I wonder why... (what they wore when they snuck out of Eagle)

yeah youd think they would but the split finger on eagles sucks where the split fingers on MIA's are much better and smoother feeling IMO, but nylon Eagle and Nylon MIA are both great feeling

VERY nice.. I'm going to have to get me a pair. How are they around the cuff? Loose? Tight?

TBLfan - I'd go with the all black. It just looks so sleek and professional. I don't know I just like the classic all black look.

Patrick67 & badkitty - It's different so I'll explain it. If you look inside the glove you see blue. That's where your hand goes and is the tight part of the glove. Inside this "blue zone" you hand is in like a glvoe and its very free moving. After the blue cuts off then there's the cuff. This part is very wide open and has a lot of movement. The reason I went with the 14" instead of the 15" is because the cuff is a lot larger on the 15" and the fingers and "glove" part had a tiny bit too much movement. For better understanding I am 6'1" with slightly larger hands.
